The double-degree program suits students, who in addition to their interest in Marketing and Innovation Management, also have strong interest in developing a comprehensive and profoundly integrate knowledge of customer-oriented Management and Data analysis. With this specialization, we are addressing bachelor graduates in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Management .
OUR TARGET GROUP
Structure and content of the study program
A total of 120 ECTS must be completed in the course of study. 90 ECTS are gained through mandatory and compulsory elective modules. The remaining 30 ECTS are collected through the shortened Master’s thesis (15 ECTS) and the six-month internship in a franco-phone country or Germany(15 ECTS).
Under the roof of the DFH you will first study for two semesters at Ingolstadt School of Management (WFI) and then move to the Toulouse School of Management (tsm) at Université Toulouse for the third and fourth semester. At both locations, you will sharpen your competence profile in international marketing and service management. During the first and second semester, you will complete compulsory and elective courses (60 ECTS). During your stay in Toulouse, you will deepen your knowledge of business administration with further specialist courses (30 ECTS), an international internship (15 ECTS) and the writing of a shortened Master’s thesis (15 ECTS).

During the first semester, you can dive deeper into the topics of Strategic Management and Service Management. In the course of Empirical Management Research you will learn how to apply statistical methods using SPSS and how to interprete their outcomes by means of practical examples. Furthermore, you will get new insights into more logical and quantitative approaches towards a customer´s lifetime value for a company in the course Analytical Customer Management. Additional analytical skills in marketing processes make you especially valuable as a marketing manager. The acquired skills of the first semester will be applied in the second semester.

Masterthesis (15 ECTS)
In the fourth and last semester you will do an internship in a francophone-country of your choice and write your master thesis. A six-month long internship will give you the opportunity to gain first work experience in an intercultural environment. With regard to the master thesis you have the possibility to cooperate with a company of your choice while considering scientific rigor and relevance. It is highly recommended to write your Master thesis at TSM, but of course you can also apply at one of the chairs of business administration at WFI.

The competences gained in the study program open up a whole range of career opportunities.
The study focus offers an excellent basis for solving marketing related problems on an international level. The imparted skills should also enable a career in specific sectors such as digital and innovative marketing. In addition to the classic industries, our graduates are also predestined for entry into senior management consultancies or further research work as part of a doctorate.
